Dr Unine Herbst is a Gynaecological Oncologist and specialises in the assessment, management and treatment of gynaecological cancers, complex gynaecology and colposcopy. She is a qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) and is also a Certified Gynaecological Oncologist (CGO).

Dr Herbst completed her Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in South Africa in 2007 and the Certificate in Gynaecological Oncology in 2011 before relocating to Australia. Dr Herbst has extensive experience in laparoscopic/minimally invasive and open procedures for the management of gynaecological cancers as well as complex pelvic surgery and colposcopy and the management and treatment of preinvasive disease of the vulva, vagina and cervix.

Research

Dr Herbst has an interest in the comprehensive management of gynaecological cancers, preinvasive disease of the genital tract and survivorship after the diagnosis of gynaecological cancers.
