Profile
Dr Sirigiri is an ENT Surgeon with special interest in Paediatric otolaryngology, Otology, and Cochlear Implant Surgery. He has more than 15 years of post-fellowship experience and has gained wide experience in the full breadth of paediatric and adult ENT surgeries. He holds fellowship with Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (ENT Surgery) in Australia, USA and India. He graduated from Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal in India in 2000, followed by post graduate ENT surgery at Govt ENT Hospital, affiliated with Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India.
Dr Sirigiri then pursued his advanced training of Paediatric Otolaryngology fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Michigan, Detroit, USA which is affiliated with Detroit Medical Centre and Wayne State University School of Medicine. His advanced training also involved work at the Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne. He offers the full breadth of paediatric and adult ENT surgeries. He is a strong advocate of Coblation Intracapsular Tonsillectomy, which has significant benefit of less post operative pain and bleeding. He is also promoting Cochlear Implant surgery at regional hospitals, closer to home. He is a Senior Lecturer at University of Sydney Rural School of Medicine, Dubbo along with Conjoint Lecturer at University of Newcastle.
Research
Dr Sirigiri involved in the research of ear infections and epiglottitis in regional hospitals. He is currently involved in multiple research projects at various hospitals. He was heavily involved in establishing the cochlear implant program at regional hospitals such as Dubbo and Gosford.
