Dr Bushati is a highly experienced obstetrician and gynaecologist with a passion for providing quality care in womens' health. With more than 10 years experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, Dr Bushati has expertise in minimising risks associated with childbirth and providing confidence and assurance to his patients. Dr Bushati completed his intern and residency training in the St George Hospital network and after considering all specialties, he found his niche in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He went on to complete his speciality training through the St George Hospital network which included placements at Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick and Sutherland Hospital.

With a thirst for knowledge, and recognising that research plays a vital role in modern medicine, Dr Bushati is an active contributor to research in obstetrics and gynaecology and is involved in teaching medical students at the University of Sydney and previously the University of New South Wales. He has a strong patient focus, recognising the importance of autonomy in an expectant mother’s wishes and decisions relating to the childbirth and seeks to support women and their partners in those decisions.

Dr Bushati, himself a married father of 3, appreciates the joys of parenthood and understands the anxieties associated with pregnancy and childbirth, working closely and compassionately with expectant parents to address any concerns.
