Dr Graeme Rich is a Staff Specialist Gastroenterologist and Head of Department, Gastroenterology at Sydney Adventist Hospital. He completed his medical training in Queensland and is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. Dr Rich holds dual appointments at the Sydney Adventist Hospital as well as the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane where he is the clinical lead of a minimally invasive endoscopic weight loss trial.

Dr Rich has wide ranging interests in gastroenterology including therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy, colorectal (bowel) cancer screening, bariatric endoscopy, liver disease and the treatment of reflux and abdominal pain and is a certified endoscopist with the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE) and is an active member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA) and a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

He has subspecialised gastroenterology interests in inflammatory bowel disease, bowel cancer screening and endoscopy and bariatric endoscopy and weight loss management.

Dr Rich is actively involved in novel medical research and teaching through the Australian National University, the University of Sydney, University of Queensland and Bond University.

Dr Rich has an interest in health technology and improvement in medical efficiency and health inequality. Dr Rich is a founder and CEO of Healthcare Collective Australia, a technology driven medical solution improving patient access to high quality, affordable specialist care across specialties.
