Dr Aggarwala is a medical graduate of Newcastle University, Australia. Dr Aggarwala completed his specialist cardiology training in 1990. He has worked as a consultant cardiologist in Sydney for over 26 years and has developed special expertise in interventional cardiology. He is a Director at the Cardiac Health Institute. He has a particular interest in ischaemic heart disease and preventative cardiology. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Australian School of Advanced Medicine (ASAM) at Macquarie University and was the Director of the Cardiac Catheterisation Lab at Macquarie University Hospital until January 2016. Dr Aggarwala has admitting rights at the Sydney Adventist Hospital, Norwest Private Hospital, Macquarie University Hospital, Westmead Private Hospital, St George Private Hospital, The Mater Hospital, Strathfield Private Hospital and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital.
