Profile
Dr Andrea Matthews is a lifestyle medicine certified General Practitioner. She completed her Bachelor in Applied Science (Biomedical) at UTS in 1993(University Medal), and worked as a Scientific Officer in Pathology at Sydney Adventist Hospital from 1985 to 1997. After completing her MBBS through the University of Sydney in 1999 she then completed internship and residency at Royal North Shore Hospital during 2000-2001. She attained her Certificate in Sexual & Reproductive Health in 2000 and Fellowship in General Practice through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2003. Dr Matthews then attained International Board Certification in Lifestyle Medicine (IBLM/ASLM) in 2022. She is currently undertaking her Post Graduate Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine, and is a current Member of Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. She is a Member of RACGP.
Dr Matthews is the Medical Director at the ELIA Lifestyle Medicine Centre located onsite at Sydney Adventist Hospital.
