Perioperative Nurses Week 2024

Throughout Perioperative Nurses Week (November 10-16) we celebrate and acknowledge the incredible people who support every detail of surgical care from admission to discharge.   
 
At Sydney Adventist Hospital, our perioperative teams participated in a weeklong calendar of events including games, a cook off and educational sessions.  
 
“From preparing patients to ensuring safety in the theatre and supporting recovery, our nurses are the heartbeat of surgical care, thank you for your unwavering commitment to safety & excellence,” said Clare Lumley, Chief Operations and Nursing Executive. 
 
Her sentiments were echoed by the Sans theatre manager.  
 
“We are incredibly proud of our highly skilled perioperative teams. Their engagement and tireless efforts create positive impact to the lives of our patients, community and each other.” said Julian Kueh, San Theatre Manager.
