City2Surf 2024

31 San Steppers represented Sydney Adventist Hospital in this year’s City2Surf.  

The team of Doctors, nurses and staff conquered the 14 kilometre course on what was a sunny Sunday. 

They were among an estimated 90,000 participants who hit the ground running for the annual fun run. The youngest entrant was just seven weeks old, and the eldest aged 93. The first wave took off just after 7:30am on the streets of Sydney's CBD for the event that takes runners through to Bondi Beach.  

While for some the event is a chance to prove their athletic prowess, for many it is an opportunity to simply have a bit of fun whilst raising money for a charity of their choice. This year’s record field, the largest in City2Surf’s 54-year history, raised more than 3 million dollars for charity. 

Money raised by the San Steppers will go towards supporting Cardiac Services at the San.
