San Gifts gives back to Hospital

At Sydney Adventist Hospital, our volunteers consistently go above and beyond to help out our doctors, nurses, staff and patients. 

We are incredibly grateful for their efforts in helping us to provide world-class care. 

Each year, our San Gift shop (which is run by our volunteer team), donates its total profit back to the hospital to pay for much needed equipment. 

The Volunteer Team presented Adventist HealthCare CEO Brett Goods with an $11,000 cheque at a recent morning tea. 

“We are so proud of our San Gift Shop, it’s a place where there are pretty smells and gifting solutions for everyone - a newborn baby, or an elderly patient, or for staff and their families.  It’s wonderful to be able to help everyone express appreciation, thankfulness, celebration, thoughtfulness, communication and sympathy,” said Patrina McLean, San Volunteers Manager. 

“We are so very thankful for our team of wonderful volunteers who help many people across our organisation, and we are grateful for the donation which will go towards helping us continue to provide the comprehensive care we give our community,” said Brett Goods, CEO of Adventist HealthCare.
