The APHA Awards for Excellence 2023 – San Radiology & Nuclear Medicine finalists

Recently the Australia's Private Hospitals (APHA) Gala Awards Dinner was held in Sydney, where they presented the 2023 Awards For Excellence. This year Adventist HealthCare was one of three finalists in the Clinical Excellence: Quality of care and patient outcomes category, for San Radiology & Nuclear Medicine’s ‘Quality Improvement in Interventional Angiography’ project.

Dr Don Nocum, Interventional Radiographer from San Radiology & Nuclear Medicine, represented Adventist HealthCare on the night and shared, “I am truly proud to represent Adventist Healthcare and to be a Finalist at this year’s 40th APHA National Congress. It was a wonderful opportunity to share our team’s research project from San Radiology & Nuclear Medicine, and to raise awareness on the low radiation dose risks for our patients undergoing uterine artery embolisation procedures.”
