Wahroonga Rotary Club Awards San staff


Sydney Adventist Hospital staff and volunteers received awards from Wahroonga Rotary at a special breakfast ceremony on 25 March.
Clinical Nurse Educator Melissa Ward received the Bill Leventhal award for her passionate for education, as well as her innovative approach to wound care management and ensuring positive patient outcomes.
San Foundation Director Barbara Ward was awarded Pride of Workmanship for her infectious optimism and enthusiasm, and her commitment to insuring the San Foundations contribution to the hospital is maintained well into the future.
Operating Theatres Director Stephen Johnston was awarded Pride of Workmanship for improving hospital services to ensure all patients revived the highest quality care.  
Manager of the San’s humanitarian aid organisation, Open Heart International, Michael Were was awarded Pride of Workmanship for being supportive, innovative and compassionate in his role.
Clinical Nurse Educator, Agnes Esak was awarded Pride of Workmanship for her involvement in manual handling and the safe delivery of chemotherapy drugs.
Community Service awards were presented to San Help Team volunteers John Luschwitz, Lindsay Douglas and Maureen Attenborough.
