SAHCS of The University of Sydney medical students graduate

The first cohort of medical students of the Sydney Adventist Hospital Clinical School (SAHCS) of The University of Sydney graduated on Friday 5th December at the 11:30am ceremony.

The 12 students graduated with Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S).
The ceremony was held in the Great Hall at The University of Sydney. The testamurs were presented by Deputy Chancellor of The University of Sydney Alan Cameron AO.
At the same ceremony Associate Dean and Head of SAHCS Professor John Watson received the highest academic award in medicine- the Doctor of Medicine.
SAHCS of The University of Sydney opened in February 2011. It is the first fully-fledged private hospital clinical school in NSW and results from a partnership with Sydney Medical School of The University of Sydney. As an inter-professional, multidisciplinary school it offers clinical training placements for medical, physiotherapy, pharmacy, and other allied health profession students.
