San supports Daffodil Day

The Cancer Support Centre are organising the sale of merchandise to raise money for the Cancer Council to fund vital cancer research, develop prevention programs and provide support for people affected by cancer. 


This year Daffodil Day aims to raise over $9.2 million with more than 10,000 volunteers expected to staff 1,200 Daffodil Day sites across Australia. For further information visit http://www.daffodilday.com.au/content/daffodil-day-facts


A number of Cancer Support Centre volunteers will be selling the merchandise in the main foyer of the hospital between 8am and 2pm on Friday 24 August and will include pins, pens, soccer balls and fresh daffodils.  Merchandise can also be purchased from the Cancer Support Centre from now until Friday, 24 August.
