Telephone services restored at the San


Telephone and other services temporarily affected by a lightning strike on Sydney Adventist Hospital (‘the San’) have been fully restored.
The lightning strike occurred at approximately 10.30 pm on the evening of Sunday 19th February during a severe electrical storm over Wahroonga.
Telephone services were restored at the San by approximately 10.45am the next morning.
The San’s emergency plans during this time were effective to ensure ongoing delivery of clinical services and patient safety.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank all staff involved overnight to ensure services were running so promptly.
