Your Admission & Stay
When You Arrive
If you are being admitted to hospital on the day of your procedure, you will be admitted via either the:
- Surgical Centre - for day surgery and day of surgery admissions
- Day Procedures Centre - for day procedures such as Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, and Bronchoscopy
Exceptions to this are admissions:
- the day before your surgery
- for non-surgical care
for maternity care
for paediatric care
for sleep studies
for procedures performed in the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory
for procedures performed in the Radiology Department
For these exceptions, please go to Patient Services on Level 4 of the Clifford Tower for admission.
The Surgical Centre is located on Level 4 of the Clark Tower. From the main (multi-deck) car park or patient drop off/pick up area, proceed to Level 4 via the Entry Bulding lifts and follow signs to the Clark Tower. Click here for a printable site map and directions.
The Day Procedures Centre is located on Level 4 of the Tulloch Building. From the main (multi-deck) car park or patient drop off/pick up area, proceed to Level 4 via the Entry Building lifts and follow signs to the Tulloch Building. Please note that there is no lift access from Level 2a of the multi-deck car park. Click here for a printable site map and directions.
If you are attending either the Day Infusion Centre (for infusion, transfusion, chemotherapy) or the Renal Dialysis Unit, please attend Patient Services on Level 4 of the Clifford Tower for your first admission for treatment or if you need to make a payment. For additional visits, please proceed directly to the Day Infusion Centre or Renal Dialysis Unit for admission.
If you are attending the Radiology Department, please present to Patient Services on Level 4 of the Clifford Tower for admission approximately one hour before your procedure time.

10.00am - 8.00pm
We believe that family and friends are important to patient recovery. Should you wish to visit outside of these hours, this may be arranged with the nursing staff following admission.
