Our specialist prostate nurse helps promote awareness on SBS

Did you know prostate cancer is the most prevalent in Australia? It may not have the profile of other types of cancers, but the reality is more than 72 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every day. 

At the San, we’re fortunate to have specialist nurses like Levina Saad, through our partnership with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia. She does an amazing job caring for patients from the moment they’re diagnosed - right through their cancer experience. She can also help them understand their treatment options and facilitate support options, so patients never feel alone. And the PCFA partnership enables Levina to tap into resources in 40 different languages and also link remote/rural patients to their nearest specialist nurse.
