MAKO
San Orthopaedics is proud to offer robotic-arm assisted surgery using Stryker’s MAKO system. This highly advanced technology allows our surgeons to accurately perform hip and knee replacement surgeries based on your individual CT scans.
The MAKO system assists with everything from pre-operative planning to bone preparation and precision placement of implants. For patients, the benefits can include less post-operative pain, a quicker recovery and a reduced risk of complications when compared to a conventional replacement.
Hydrotherapy pool
Hydrotherapy utilises the properties of warm water to facilitate movement and to enhance therapeutic effects. As water reduces stress on painful soft tissues and joints it is an excellent medium for controlled exercise for following orthopaedic surgery.
Our state-of-the-art hydrotherapy pool is bromine-ozone filtered and considered one of Sydney’s best. It is easy to access, a comfortable 32.5 - 33.5°C with minimal chlorine levels and high levels of water purity and clarity. We have a wide range of therapy equipment available to assist patients.
