Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled / Division 2)
Sydney Adventist Hospital in partnership with Meadowbank Tafe offers the clinical component of a Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled / Division 2).
Delivery of this course involves a mixture of classroom based learning, independent learning and clinical placements. Course length is 12 months. All theory will be at Meadowbank TAFE. Classes are held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 8:30am and 4:30pm.

Entry to this course is by application. Applicants are required to undertake a literacy and numeracy test and attend an interview.

- Completed immunisation form and immunisation checklist
- Passport photo
- CV with details of previous qualifications obtained
- 100 Point Identification check - please refer to this form and bring the relevant original documents on your first day.
- An Australian National Criminal Record Check (dated within the last 3 years)
The cost of the course is: $5,000. VET-FEE-HELP available.

Applicants MUST have a HSC or Certificate III qualification or higher PLUS all applicants must be able to submit written evidence of four(4) years of education in English at secondary, vocational or tertiary level in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom or United states of America. If applicants do not have that proof then an academic score of 7 in an IELTS test across all areas will be accepted.
PLEASE NOTE: The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) requires all applicants for registration to demonstrate English language proficiency. Further details are available from the NMBA. VET FEE-HELP assistance may be available for this course.
Future study options
This program gives the student a career pathway from Diploma of Nursing to New Graduate EN and is equivalent to one year credit towards the Bachelor of Nursing program for registered nurses.
